We push strength training on everyone. After having the pleasure of helping literally thousands of people from all walks of life, Rx-Fit strength training program is the "protector and preventer" your body needs as you age. It is vital to your exercise program, if you are over 30-it's mandatory. First of all, your daily living is unlikely to offer much physical stimulation, this means your muscles are melting. A few days a week of a full, intelligently designed strength training program are just what your body needs to burn more calories, have defined shape to your muscles and give you functional strength in your everyday life. Although our Centers are filled mostly with baby boomers who love to see the time clock go backwards with this program, everyone at any age can benefit from regular strength training sessions, but baby boomers benefit in some special ways. You get younger. Literally. Youth is fitness, muscle strength boosts metabolism, burns calories, tones the body and gives you a youthful figure. If you have been diagnosed with a disease or limitation, our staff are highly trained and educated and we can Modify your exercise program and in most cases help you reduce the risks associated with the diagnosis, which could change your life.

Strength training is complicated. Many people give up on it because of this. If you hire the right trainer (Rx-Fit) your results will skyrocket. Recommended 2-3 sessions per week with an Rx-Fit personal trainer
- Lifestyle Consultation and nutrition analysis
- Strength and cardiovascular testing
- A detailed exercise regimen including a protein diet and recommendation
- Monthly analysis and goals setting
Rx-Fit provides every client with a thorough evaluation prior to commencing your exercise program. This evaluation consists of body measurements, body fat percent calculation, blood pressure, waist-to-hip ratio analysis, sub-maximal VO2 testing, cardiovascular recovery testing, flexibility testing, strength evaluation and pictures. Ongoing evaluations help provide new goals and progression.

Every client is unique, every Personal Training program should be too. We will adjust to your individual needs and design a program that will help you reach YOUR goals quickly and safely without the distractions commonly found in a gym. Rx-Fit promotes lifestyle changes through personal fitness and wellness education. That is what sets us apart from the competition. Personal Training sessions are 60 minutes in length.
